Quranic Laws
The difference between an Islamic State and a secular state is that in an Islamic State, affairs are conducted within limits laid down by the Quran. Nobody has the right to transgress these limits; in the other words the right to rule belongs to Allah alone. It is said in Surah Yusuf Chapter 12 Verse 40; "Remember! The command is for none but Allah". In Chapter 18 Verse 26; "Nor does He share His Command with any one whosoever". If the right to rule is bestowed upon any person or a group of person - whatevery be their name - that shall amount to Shirk - ascribing partners with Allah. No one, how highly placed he may be, even as high as a Messenger of Allah, has the right to make people subservient to himself. Surah Aal-e-Imran in Chapter 3 Verse 78 says: "It is not for any human being unto whom Allah has given the Book and wisdom and the Divine Message, that he should afterwards have said unto mankind, 'Obey me instead of Allah'. He sould rather say, 'You should be amongst those who are subservient to Allah by following His Book which you study and teach others'."

Surrah Ar-Ra'd - THE THUNDER - No.13 - Verse: 8
It has been stated that there is a period of respite between actions and their results. This is evident from the following examples: There is an intervening period between the conception and birth of a child. Allah Almighty knows what is in the womb and what is increased or decreased therein, and which foetus will reach completion and which will not. Verse: 8

Women Role in Islam
The fact of the matter is that no boy is born by his own decision to be a boy nor a girl is born by hers. Hence to consider girls (or women) to be inferior to boys (or men) is just like accepting the misconceptions mentioned earlier which have been negated by the Holy Quran. Nevertheless, to consider men superior to women, is against the basic principles of the Holy Quran and negates God's designs. According to the Holy Quran, superiority depends on the individual qualities (developed personality, character, and one's deeds) and not by virtue of birth. In Islam's basic principles, men and women are equal partners. All these ideas of man's superiority are the creation of the "Islam" manufactured during the era of Muslim monarchy, when the women were auctioned off in the markets. The classical books of Muslim jurisprudence are full of rules and regulations about their trade.

Islam and Science
"Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together before We split them asunder ? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?"
Surah Al Anbiyaa verse- 30
It is commonly known among serious scientists and particularly among astronomists that there was a Big Bang at the beginning of the universe. One evidence for it is the fact that the universe is expanding with a steady (or decreasing, or increasing) rate.
This has been supported by the data collected by the Hubble Telescope. Edwin Hubble was the very founder of the theory of the expansion of the universe (see "The Birth of Time" by John Gribbin, Weidenfeld & Nicholson, London 1999).
Before this Big Bang, all agree, matter must have been concentrated in a hugely dense and solid mass, the size of which nobody knows. Scientists conjecture by estimating density and size of the known universe. They interpret the difference between electromagnetic waves, like the colour of light, that can be measured in distant galaxies. This is the redshift. There must have been a big explosion in the beginning, as shown above.

Taraweeh - Quran's Prespective
There is no mention of Taraweeh in the Quran. These were initiated at the time of Allah's Messenger or of Hazrat Umar's. This is a question of history. The Shias and the Sunnees have disagreement over it. Everyone is aware of these discussions and controversies. On the question whether the number of rak'ahs in Taraweeh is eight or twenty, there is disagreement within the Sunnees itself. And no one is unaware of these debates

Purpose of Fasting in Islam
The evening prayer has attracted a larger than usual number of worshippers. Today, the advent of the new moon might herald the start of the holy month of Ramadan - the Muslim month of fasting. In an effort to observe the Sunnah of the Muhammad (PBUH), some worshippers are busy trying to sight the new moon when the call to prayer is made. After the prayer, the Imam is informed that the new moon has been sighted. Members of the council also confirm this news. This prompts worshippers to congratulate each other and the mosque is filled with the chants of Allahu Akbar (God is great).
