Messenger - Prophet :-

Prophet Lot - Lut ( peace be upon him ) and his family lived among very wicked and defiant people. These people did many things which Allah Almighty had prohibited. So Allah Almighty commanded Lut (Alaih Assalaam)to tell them be obedient to his laws and not indulge themselves into sinful actions, But people refused to pay attention to messenger - prophet. They even mocked at him because he would not join them in doing evil activities.

One day, some visitors came to Lut ( peace be upon him ) . The evil people wanted to capture his visitors and harm them. Prophet was very anxious that he would not be able to defend his guests. But the visitors said: You need not be frightened. Those evil-doers cannot hurt us. . They had come so that he and his family could escape and be safe, for God ( Allah Almighty ) was going to reprimand the evil-doers of that city. Because Prophet - Messenger and his family, had believed in Allah Almighty and complied to laws. Therefore they were to be saved.

Lut ( peace be upon him ) and his family got ready and left their house at night when it was dark, so that the evil people would not see them. But then, just as they were leaving, prophet wife turned back and stayed behind. She refused to deem in Allah Almighty and was also among defiant. Every house in the town were smashed and the disobedient people rotten in the rain of fire and stones. Only Lot ( peace be upon him ) and the rest of his family were in peace, and they praised and thanked Allah Almighty for having guided them to his path.
